trash-e

I was completely entranced by Wall-e and bought the toy.  A few questions came to mind as I opened the packaging today:

1.) Why did I get a little emotional as I freed Wall-e from the packaging wires?

2.) Isn't Wall-e supposed to be tirelessly working to consolidate mounds of waste on planet Earth?

3.) Why does my toy Wall-e come wrapped in more trash than he himself could compact?

The Wooden Mirror is an example of interactive design that uses old and new, pixel and physical, technology and craft.  It's like a Sparkletts truck with artificial intelligence.

I've always been fond of Sparkletts trucks.

Orange/Blue Ball

Kelsey found this ball at the 99 cent store. She used it as inspiration for one of her design projects. Go to Kelsey's blog for more.
